You gain proficiency in 4 skills of your choice that you do not already have proficiency with, and expertise in 2 skills that you have proficiency in. You may choose initiative as an option for these. (Add manually and leave one option unselected.) In addition, when you make a skill check, you can choose to give yourself a +10 to that check, three times per long rest.
