Having encountered Li'les the Sentinel, you have chosen to become his representative in the mortal realm, granting you great power in service to his goals.

  • You have advantage when making Persuasion rolls.
  • Finest Hour: Invoking Li'les's power, you delay death from claiming its target. Once per long rest, when a creature you can see within 30 feet of you reaches 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to keep them standing. For as long as you maintain this effect, they can take their turn as if they were not downed, and at the beginning of each of your turns you must make a Will save to maintain this effect. The DC of this save starts at 15 and increments by one each turn. You may instead choose to willingly drop this effect at the beginning of your turn or as a reaction. While in this state, the creature you are keeping alive is compelled to defeat the creature that would have downed them and must attempt to damage them. Whenever they do damage to that creature, they gain temporary hit points equal to half the amount of damage inflicted. If they are hit by an attack while under this effect and they have no temporary hit points then they automatically count has having failed one death saving throw. These failures carry over once this effect is dropped. If instead this effect ends and they have remaining temporary hit points, they lose all temporary hit points and heal twice the amount lost, and failed death saves are not carried over. If the creature was targeted by a healing effect, that effect is delayed until after this effect ends. If the creature you are keeping alive kills the creature that would have downed it, you regain use of this ability at your next short rest.
