Befriend

At the 5th level, you gain an alternate way to catch Pokémon. Make an Animal Handling check against a Pokémon which you wish to befriend – the DC might vary depending on how the Pokémon feels toward you, how you or others have treated it, or how the Pokémon feels about other Pokémon you or others around you might own. If successful, the Pokémon will not be hostile towards you and will likely follow your commands, or at least listen to you.
