There exist few in the arcane schools who wish to dabble with the physics of controlling multiple spells at the same time. Not for lack of trying, as it has been attempted and documented. The grisly examples seen in mage apprentice textbooks are enough to daunt even the most fearless of indiviudals. The mind of the caster and the matter of the universe do not treat the brave souls who try this with any mercy. Despite such warnings, you have delved into forbidden writings and forgotten experiments and have emerged, enlightened. Whether through madness or genius you have learned the art of dual casting spells. The cost well known to you, and for some the risk is worth the reward.
You now have the ability to hold concentration on two spells at the same time.
Demonstration of Arcane Control-When you cast a second spell that requires concentration, while holding concentration on a previously casted spell, you must immediately make a DC15 INT Saving Throw. You must also repeat this saving throw at the beginning of each of your turns following the use of this ability if you are concentrating on the two spells. Or if out of combat the equivalent 6 seconds. The DC increases by 1 for each successful saving throw. The DC resets to 15 when you take a Long Rest.
On failure both the previous spell you were casting and the new one you were attempting both fail. You also suffer 1 point of exhaustion as your body and mind crumbles under the stress of the magic you attempted. These exhaust points can only be cured by a long rest, not by any magical means. On a Success, you now are holding concentration on both casted spells. You make any concentration checks to keep the spells up at Disadvantage.
You can choose to end your concentration on either spell according to the rules laid out in the Player's Handbook. Reverting back to concentration on one spell and dropping the other does not incur any adverse effects.
