Prerequisite: Protection fighting style, at least 13 Dexterity
The Protection Fighting Style class feature changes to the following:
When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 15 feet of you, you may use your reaction to move to a square adjacent to the target immediately. Then if you are adjacent to the target, impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield.
If the attack still hits, you may immediately perform an attack as if performing an attack of opportunity.
