The life that you live is not yours to control. The body that you inhabit is not yours to keep. all that you are and all that you have lived through you owe to the one who created you. During the life that you live, you will be considered a descendant as they have made you one of their own likeness.
In the context of this Feat, it refers to mainly the divine or any other worldly being who has given you a vessel to live in. In this, you are an extension of their being. Your form may also belong and be under their control at any time they choose. when under the control of your ancestor your body is given massive amounts of their power. However, only a small sliver of said power is available to you when you attempt to use it. the relationship with your ancestor can also control how often they might take control, or spectate you while your carry out their wishes. if such a time when access to their power is absolutely needed, depending on your relationship and/or mission, your ancestor may give more than a sliver of their power for you to control. however when such times come it often leaves you with mental and physical consequences, the severity depending on how much power you were given.
Please discuss with your dm how this will affect your game and the ability your character may get as well as the consequences.

If they choose to the character will enter a state where flame will consume their body for a total of 5 turns or 30 seconds. the time extends by 30 seconds or 5 turns for each level the player possesses. Any creature who is touched by this character in any way takes 1d8 fire damage. the character gains temporary hit points equal to their max hp, and once depleted will end this state, or once the total amount of time passes or the fire is extinguished the state will also end. the character then falls, if the fire isn't already out it will go out, and the character will roll death saves like normal. while the character is still in the flame state, the character has resistance to all physical damage but weakness to cold, lighting, thunder, and acid.
