
Way of the Dream Walker
3rd level - Dream State
Beginning at 3rd level you can enter a state of being that is between the waking world and that of the dream. As a bonus action on your turn, you can enter this dream state for 1 minute. Whilst in this state, you gain the following benefits:
- your ac is increased by 2
- your unarmed strikes and attacks with monk weapons deal additional psychic damage equal to your wisdom modifier
- you have advantage on wisdom saving throws
- you have blindsight of proficiencymod*10ft
You can enter this state a number of times equal to 1+half your proficiency modifier rounded down per long rest
- 2 times at 3rd
- 3 times at 9th
- 4 times at 17th
3rd level - a Font of Dream Energy
At the end of a long rest, you and any ally that slept within 30ft of you gain a point of inspiration that lasts until your next long rest. Additionally, your unarmed strikes may deal psychic damage instead of bludgeoning damage whilst you still have your point of inspiration.
6th level - Dream Wanderer
Beginning at 6th level you are able to project your consciousness out of your body into the dreaming world around you. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to enter a meditative state. Whilst meditating in this way your consciousness traverses the dream world up to a range of proficiency-mod*200ft. Your consciousness shares the same senses as you except it has 120ft darkvision. Your consciousness has a fly speed equal to your walking speed.
6th level - Awoken Dreamer
Spending time seeking the meaning of the dreaming world has made you a more intuitive person, you have advantage on insight checks.
11th level - Manifestation of Imagination
Beginning at 11th level you are able to manifest your sleeping self into the waking world. As an action, you can spend 4 ki points to conjure a spectral copy of yourself in an unoccupied space within 60ft of you. This copy has its own turn and acts immediately after you in combat. It has access to any of your abilities and has its own pool of ki points equal to your proficiency bonus. It appears with a number of temporary hitpoints equal to 5 times your level in this class + wisdom + proficiency bonus. It does not benefit from any magical items that you are wearing but can still use them as mundane objects (a magical quarterstaff can still be used as a quarterstaff)
17th level - Actualization of that which is Only Dreamt
Beginning at 17th level, your connection to the dream has become so strong that you are able to make dreams into reality. You are able to cast the wish spell once per long rest, however, there is a danger that doing so too often could cause the veil between worlds to forever tear unleashing the dreaming world upon the waking world. So beware of the consequences.
17th level - Master of Dreams
Beginning at 17th level, your dream state has become more attuned to the dream and you gain the following benefits whilst in your dream state.
- resistance to all damage
- critical hits grant you 1 point of ki.
