You have gained the ability to corrupt your physical and metaphysical form to twist it into arcane power.
You can now collect Rot Points, for each Rot Point you gain, you gain a Rot dice equal to a 1d6 at the cost of a -1 from one of your ability scores to a minimum of 3.
This Rot dice can be applied to saving throws, ability checks, initiative and it can also be added to your spell casting modifier to increase your chance to hit with spells and increase other spells DC, as well as rolls to hit with melee attacks.
After gaining 3 Rot points your appearance changes to show your corrupted soul. Your skin becomes thin and taut across the bone. You develop a hatred for the Sun, gaining disadvantage on all rolls whenever standing in direct sunlight.
After you gain 5 Rot points you gain a vulnerability towards radiant damage and resistance to necrotic damage.
Upon gaining 10 Rot points your physical form has twisted and become tainted. You lose the need to sleep, eat or drink. Instead of long or short resting to regain spell points you instead study your spellbook in a trance like state. You'll regain hit points the same.
Upon gaining 15 Rot points you fully become a Lich. You can attune your soul to your spellbook or arcane focus to become a phylactory. You can spend the next 10 hours altering your physical form to incorporate your phyactory. You also gain the ability to use up to 2 Rot dice to regain a spell point equal to the dice rolled or to regain spell points from 1st level upwards equal to the number rolled.
