You can use this feat only when you are attacked by a melee weapon with/without reach, excluding weapons like whips, boomerangs, and the like. You gain a +1 bonus if it is a light weapon, +2 if it is a one handed weapon, and +4 if it is a two handed weapon that you are wielding. These bonuses don't stack with other bonuses, excluding defensive feats, then they stack. This feat cannot be used while wielding a reach weapon, ranged weapon, or a rod/wand like weapon, but staffs can be used with this feat. While you use this feat, roll a 1d20 and add any modifies like with the weapon you are using, Dexterity bonuses/penalties, and/or magic bonuses. If your roll is higher than the attack roll, then the deflection is successful, and you can make a attack of opportunity, and if it lands, after the damage roll is done, take a 5-foot step in any direction of your choice away the attacker. This feat can only be used every round.
