Hemocraft Adept
You don't understand the power that runs in your blood, but you're learning to harness this strange magic. By spilling your own blood (and sometimes your vital essence), you can invoke one of your Blood Edicts to either heal a creature or mitigate damage against them. The type of damage you take when rolling a hemocraft die is the type of damage caused by the physical weapon you use to inflict the damage. You must have a weapon equipped to use a hemocraft die.

Edict of Benediction
As a bonus action, you expend one use of your Blood Edict feature to heal one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. That creature regains a number of hit points equal to one roll of your hemocraft die + your hemocraft modifier (either WIS or INT, your choice).
You can increase the you heal by an amount equal to the roll of one hemocraft die, but you must take an amount of weapon damage equal to the hemocraft die roll.
Edict of Empathy
As a reaction, you expend one use of your Blood Edict feature to halve the damage taken by one creature you can see within 60 feet of you.
You can increase the amount of damage you mitigate by an amount equal to the roll of one hemocraft die, but you must take an amount of weapon damage equal to the hemocraft die roll.
