Curse Of Demon's Blood Image

Having absorbed the cursed blood of Ruve's great experiment, you have become cursed to one day become one of his demons. While you have undoubtedly gained a great power, as you grow in the strength you may one day find yourself consumed by your own strength.

Feign Speech. After you have damaged another creature, you gain the ability to speak and understand one of the languages that it knew. However, you cannot write and read that language. You can only feign one language at a time and to other creatures your speaking voice will sound unnatural.

Coveted Power. Once per day, if you have less than half your total hit points or you took 4 times your level in damage last turn, you can use your bonus action to undergo demonification. While demonized, you may add your proficiency to damage rolls as fire damage, your critical range is increased by 1, and you gain +1 AC. You gain resistance to fire and cold damage but become vulnerable to radiant damage.

At the end of your turn, you take 1d4 psychic damage, increasing by 1 die each subsequent turn (2d4, 3d4, etc.). After you take the damage, you may attempt to end demonification. If you do so, make a will save with DC equal to your base armor class while demonized: if you succeed you no longer are demonized. If you fail, you remain demonized. If you are downed while demonized, the DM rolls on the madness table.

Demonic Instability. While demonized,  you may add 1d4 to any check, contest, or saving throw made with strength, dexterity, or constitution. However, you subtract 1d4 from any  checks, saving throws, or contests made with wisdom, intelligence, or charisma.

At level 12, Coveted Power's effects will increase in potency.
