Epic Spell: Eclipse

By spending ten minutes casting this spell, you create a limited eclipse, as though a heavenly body moved between the sun and the earth. The landscape within a five-mile radius of your location experiences the dimming of the sun as a disk that you created passes in front of it, culminating in a complete blackout and an accompanying coronal ring.

During the duration of this spell, creatures that have sunlight sensitivity or hypersensitivity ignore those traits while within the area of effect. The eclipse follows you across the landscape for up to 8 hours, until the sun goes down, or until you dismiss the eclipse as an action.

This spell does not require concentration.

For all intents, purposes, and interactions this spell is treated as a 10th level spell.
