Eldritch Invocation: Soul Bond

Your bond with your Familiar is stronger than most, as though your souls are one. When you summon your Familiar you place a piece of your own soul inside it, granting the following benefits:

• When you cast a spell with the target of self you can choose to have your familiar be effected by the spell as well.
• If your Familiar is within 5ft of you when you would make a death saving throw, your Familiar can use its reaction to return your soul fragment to your body, stabilizing you and setting your HP to match that of your Familiar.  Once this is done your Familiar disappears until you cast the Find Familiar spell again.
