Prerequisite: Requires a Intelligence score of 14 or higher
The PC can make a “blueprint” (or sketch) of a weapon or machine that they want to make, if they make a parts/materials list and succeed a intelligence check with a d100 based on the complexity of the creation and do the required research they may succeed in the creation process.
Research is required to create a blueprint. 1 research point is equal to 2 hours of reading from engineering or physics books
Complexity is measured by how many moving parts (+5), individual parts (+1) and weight (+15 per pound). And research is measured by taking the complexity and dividing it by two.
