Having mastered the art of throwing weapons, you gain the following benefits.
-
If you deal damage to a creature using a weapon that has the thrown property, you gain advantage your next attack on that creature.
-
While you are wielding two weapons with the throw properly they are considered light if they weigh no more than 4 pounds.
-
In addition, once per short rest when you deal damage to a creature with a thrown weapon you can give them disadvantage on one physical saving throw (strength dexterity constitution) of your choice until the end of your next turn. If you roll a natural 20 with a thrown weapon you can instead choose to knock the creature prone if you are using strength, or reduce their movement speed by 20ft if you are using a dexterity based weapon.
These effects cannot be used with improvised weapons even if you are proficient with them.
