You have a deep understanding of the weave of magic from years of study and with enough time you can learn any spell or cantrip that you have the arcana skill to cast. These spells and cantrips are written in a spellbook, which you must have in hand while casting one of the learned spells.

When you choose this feat, you acquire a spellbook holding two cantrips and two 1st-level spells of your choice. Choose them from any spell list. If you come across a spell in written form, such as a magical spell scroll or a wizard's spellbook or study a spell from a caster, you might be able to add it to your spellbook. The spell's level can be no higher than half your level (rounded up). The process of copying the spell into your spellbook takes 2 hours per level of the spell, and costs 50 gp per level and half that for a cantrip. The cost represents material components you expend as you experiment with the spell to master it, as well as the fine inks you need to record it.
