Inspiration

You regain 1 inspiration point at the start of every session and can hold no more than 3 at the start of a session.

• You can have 3 inspiration points. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can spend one inspiration point to roll an additional d20. You can choose to spend one of your inspiration points after you roll the die. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
• You regain one expended inspiration points at the start of a session.
• Inspiration points used will be put in a pool at the table which the DM can use for NPC's.  If the DM uses inspiration point to the detriment of a PC the said PC is immediately awarded the point.  
• “I have a thing for that”   The DM may allow a player to spend a point of inspiration to “remember” their character purchased a mundane item.
• “I may know someone for that” The DM may allow a player to spend inspiration to describe a contact who can help with the current situation.
