Deaf and Mute Spellcaster

Despite your inability to hear or speak, your dedication to the arcane was strong, and you found a way to become a spellcaster regardless

• You permanently have the Deafness condition.
• You no longer require verbal components for spells, which instead become somatic components of some sort. This means you can cast most spells silently, though the spell itself can still create noise.
• You cannot speak. Communication can be difficult between you and others but is still possible through expressions, gestures, and writing.
• You can read lips, so if you can see the mouth of anyone around you, you can understand what they are saying.
