Prerequisite: requires Lvl 5 in barbarian, fighter, paladin, or warlock (pact of the blade)
Requirements: Lvl 5 in Barbarian, Fighter, Paladin, or Warlock (pact of the blade)
You are able to use Oversized Heavy weapons.
- You learn the tricks needed to lift and use Oversized Weapons.
- Abilities that grant additional attacks cannot be used with Oversized Weapons
- When Attacking with an Oversized weapon you gain double your damage modifiers from any source that buffs damage universally (e.g. Divine smite would not be doubled, but the damage bonus from having a +1 Oversized Greatsword, your str modifier, or something like barbarian's rage would be)
Examples of Oversized Heavy Weapons, Feel free to use them! Or not! The choice is yours.
- Ultra Greatsword: 4d4, cleave: Hits an additional adjacent target within five feet of you and your target. This counts as a single attack for the purposes of divine smite, divine fury etc and the damage is calculated for both creatures.
- GreatLance: 2d10, Disadvantage on attacks within 5ft, Reach, Cleave: hits an additional target within 5feet of the original in a direct line through them. Otherwise same as above.
- Gargantuan GreatAxe, 1d20, ...broken enough as is?
- Immense GreatHammer, 4d4, Whalloping swings: knock targets prone on hit, Save vs str/con
