Backed into a corner, your psychic abilities have evolved to protect you from the parasite ravaging your mind. The mind fire empowers your psychic damage, as well as provides additional resistance against effects that cause the charm effect or otherwise would cause you to be dominated. Though you have awakened this new power within yourself, you still feel as if there is a bottomless source of power yet untapped; either from lack of experience, or fear of being consumed in a multi-hued flame.
Scouring Mind Fire
When inflicting psychic damage on your turn, you can add your proficiency bonus to a single roll of a spell, or to the damage rolls of multiple attacks, if those attacks already deal psychic damage.
Burning Consciousness
When you make a saving throw to resist the Charmed condition, or would otherwise be compelled by forms of domination, you may add your proficiency bonus to the roll.
