Prerequisite: Requires having at least one creature already know of your existence or having at least one creature create you within their imagination
Taking the idea of being in an imaginary game world too seriously, you yourself are a figment of the imaginations of all those around you. Despite being a nonexistent individual merely simulated by illusory magic, you still have agency in living in and affecting the world around you. Still, you abide to some different rules than your more tangible foes and allies. These differences include:
- Gaining access to the Minor Illusion cantrip, as well as the Major Image spell. You also gain access to the Counterspell spell, however this can only be used in response to spells that would cause the nullification, suppression, or dispersion of magic such as Dispel Magic or Antimagic Field.
- Not needing to eat, drink, or sleep, but being capable of doing so if desired. You do not gain any of the benefits or suffer any of the consequences of doing so, however.
- Being completely undetectable by any creature until you first attack it, cast a spell on it, use any action on it, having a creature already aware of your existence alert it to your presence, be hit by its attack, spell, or action that affects multiple creatures within a certain range, or become affected by the effects of Detect Magic (The caster will see your aura and know it to be magic from the School of Illusion while using Detect Magic, but they will still be unable to permanently see and/or interact with you after the spell ends until another one of the listed requirements are met). Until one or more of these criteria are met, you effectively do not exist to the eyes or abilities or said creature. Once the requirements are met, said creature will permanently be able to see and interact with you.
- Disappearing completely and instantaneously, along with any items and currency your are currently carrying, if put under the effects of abilities that nullify or disperse magic, such as the Dispel Magic or Antimagic Field spells. If this happens, roll a d20. Depending on the roll (without any modifiers), one of the following effects occurs:
- 1: You fall Unconscious and must perform death saving throws. On your third success, you regain consciousness and will return to the world within 1d8+16 hours in the exact state and location you disappeared at. On your third fail, you die, and your body, along with all of the items and currency you were carrying, do not return to the world.
- 2-9: You will return to the world within 1d8+16 hours in the exact state and location you disappeared at.
- 10-19: You will return to the world within 1d6+10 hours in the exact state and location you disappeared at.
- 20: The effects of the magic-cancelling spell are ended immediately and you reappear instantaneously behind the caster. For the duration of your next turn, you are Invisible, and you have advantage if you target the creature that caused the disruption. If the source is something that cannot be targeted, such as nature or a non-creature, you reappear instantly without advantage.
