Using an action you can attempt to swallow one creature that isn't bigger than medium. On a failed dc 15 DEX save, the creature is sucked in to the character's mouth. As a bonus action, you can choose one of three things to do to the creature. You can A. shoot the creature out of your mouth at a target within 30 ft (+4 to hit, sizes affect damage, tiny=1D4, small=2D4 etc.) B. simply release the creature. or C. you choose one feat, racial trait, movement speed or weapon to replicate (DMs can choose whether or not you can obtain that trait). As for the creature see option A. The character may change shape depending on the trait. Eg. The feat grappler might enlarge your hands, Flying movement speed might give you wings if it comes from an avian source etc.
The swallowed creature is blinded, restrained, and unable to breathe, and it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw at the start of each round or take 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the character moves, the engulfed target moves with it. The character can have only one creature swallowed at a time. The character's walking speed is reduced to 10ft, and gain disadvantage on DEX saves.
