Through force of will, you can push yourself beyond your normal limits and gain an additional action at the cost of exhaustion.
To use this feat, on your turn, roll a Constitution saving throw with a target DC of 10 + your current exhaustion level. If the saving throw is successful, you can take one additional action on your turn. At the end of your turn, gain one level of exhaustion.
Only one Heroic Surge may be used per turn. You can use this feat at any exhaustion level, but if this feat raises your exhaustion level to 6, you immediately die at the end of your turn.
If the saving throw is unsuccessful, the Heroic Surge does not occur, no exhaustion is gained, and you cannot attempt another Heroic Surge until your next turn.
This feat cannot be used to gain a bonus action or reaction.
You cannot use this feat on the same turn as another “surge” feat or ability, such as the Spellsurge feat or action surge class ability.
