Fade Touched

The Fade-Touched are a compound people, created from the union of humanity and spirits from the plane of dreams, the Fade. Fade-Touched are often seen as wise, spiritual people with great compassion for others. There is an unmistakable alien quality to the Fade-Touched, though, as they are haunted by the conflicts of their otherworldly spirits.

Anyone can become "Fade-Touched" by entering the Fade (the dream world and the world of the dead and of spirits) and doing a bonding ritual with a spirit of the Fade. Sort of like a Warlock's patron... the spirit may require nothing, something, or anything in return for this bonding.

You gain the special Fade-Touched traits of advantage on Wisdom saves, resistance to Psychic damage, and resistance to charm and sleep spells. And perhaps you also gain some additional quirks of the specific spirit you bonded with too.
