As a Bonus Action, you can activate the Avatar of Light, causing it to create a 5-foot wide cone of Light that sheds dim light for 5, 10, or 15 feet from the point of activation.
The Avatar is usually placed somewhere upon a creature such as a hand, or on an object, such as a weapon, shield, wand, rod, etc, and in a place where its light can shine forth. Although, trixters have been known to have them placed inside helmets, on the backs or armor, or soft padded boots that are meant for stealth, often with activations such as a whistle or finger snap :)
