Grapple Master

You’ve mastered grappling techniques maximizing its efficiency in combat.

• If you win a grapple contest by 5 or more, you may also automatically restrain your opponent.
• When pinning (restraining) an opponent, both you and your opponent are restrained but the opponent may not attack you. They may attack others nearby with disadvantage.  You may attack the restrained opponent but with disadvantage which is a separate action from the grapple. 
• When you restrain a target, you may inflict 1d4+strength modifier crushing bludgeoning damage. 
• If you win a continuing grapple attack by 5 or more while your target is in a restrained condition, you may initiate a submission (choke) hold. The target may only use Strength or Athletics at this point to contest the hold. Every round that you can maintain the hold, the target suffers according to suffocation rules.
