Prerequisite: 1st Level Character
Tree-huggers are demigods that, thanks to their divine heritage, have a strong connection to nature, which allows the person to be resistant to the elements.
When you choose this Feat, choose a god of the Nature domain as one of your ancestors or parents. When you do so, you can choose another feat with the word “Demigod” in it. Your divine connection to nature allows you to gain the following benefits at specific levels:
1st:
- You gain proficiency in the Herbalism Kit and the Explorer’s Pack
- when you use your Herbalism Kit, you can add a D4 to the check. The die increases by one at 3rd, 5th, and 17th level
- you always know which direction is north
- you know exactly how much time is left before the next sunset or sunrise
- When you forage, you find twice as much as normal
3rd:
- when you take Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, Bludgeoning, or Slashing damage from non magical attacks, you can reduce that damage by 1d12+ your Constitution modifier. The die increases by one at 5th and 17th levels
- you can cast the Druidcraft cantrip at will
- when you deal bludgeoning, peircing or Slashing damage, you can deal an additional Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, Bludgeoning, or Slashing damage damage. This damage equals 1d12. The die increases by one at 5th and 17th levels
5th:
- You gain resistance to Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, Bludgeoning, or Slashing damage from non magical attacks
- You can cast the Tree Stride spell at will
- When you are outdoors away from civilization, you can become invisible until you are hit with an attack or you dismiss it as a Bonus Action.
- You gain a climbing, swimming, and a flying speed of 30 feet
17th:
- You gain immunity to Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, Bludgeoning, or Slashing damage from non magical attacks
- you can cast the Druid Grove and the Alter Self spells at will
- if their are loose vines around you, you can command each of them, up to your proficiency bonus to try to restrain one creature of your choice within 30 feet of you. You can also manipulate them into stairs.
