Prerequisite: Requires character to be a Tortle

This poor tortle has experienced severe trauma in the past, and during combat it can trigger a retreat into their shell or cause them to attack recklessly.

At the beginning of each turn in combat you roll a d20.

On a roll of 1 t you withdraw into your shell, and does not attack. Until you emerge, you gain a +4 bonus to your AC, and you have advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws. While in your shell, you are prone, your speed is 0 and can’t increase, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, and you can’t take reactions.

On a roll of 20 the you recklessly attack. You can throw aside all concern for defence to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.

The effect remains active, until either a 1 or 20 is rolled, combat ends, or a healing spell is cast on the player.
