Prerequisite: Requires a Wisdom score of 13 or higher.

The way of xianghua (像花), literally meaning "to be like a flower", embodies the perfect system of flowers and plants. Monks who learn this technique open their minds to a the natural network of psychic energies around them. But like the most defensive plants, can close off their minds, steeling themselves against danger.

  • Your mind has grown resilient, allowing you to shield your mind from other psychic powers. You gain the following benefits:
  • You have resistance to psychic damage.
  • When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright from psychic damage, you can drop to 1 hit point instead.
  • When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d8. Add your Intelligence modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
