Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher.
Your use of shields in combat has taught you how to use it in conjunction with another melee weapon.
- You may use an equipped shield as a light weapon, and are proficient with shields when used this way.
- Attacks with shields used this way utilize 1d4 + STR. You do not add your proficiency bonus to the attack unless another feature allows you to do so.
- When you make a weapon attack with a simple or martial weapon in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with an equipped shield.
