You add any exhaustion levels you have to your AC. Your movement can not drop below 5 feet due to exhaustion.
When you are suffering from exhaustion would gain any additional levels you can a d20 and if you roll a 20 you don't gain any, if you use this feature you can't use it again for 3d10 days.
