You have contracted Lycanthropy in wolf form. Your body is slowly going through a transformation. Up until your first transformation, you are completely normal, and may not even know that there are changes going on. Little things have changed though. You crave meat. Regardless of your diet before, your body needs the sustenance that only comes from meat. You have no problem eating other foods, but without a good portion of meat in your meal, you still feel hungry after eating. Another thing that changes, but you may not notice too much of is you are less likely to become tired. Things that used to tire you out take a lot longer to make you tired to the point of gaining a point of exhaustion. If your character is supposed to gain a point of exhaustion, roll a d20, if you roll above a 10 on the dice, you don't become exhausted. When it rains, if you get wet, you smell like a wet dog.
The onset of transformation is a little different than that of a normal lycanthrope that contracted the blood through a bite. With the wolf blood being part of you because of a spell gone awry, a few different things may trigger the transformation. If you get knocked unconscious, immediately roll a d20. Anything over a 10, you keep consciousness, but begin transformation into a werewolf. you deplete your magical energy. When you use all of your spell slots, you lose control of your magical shields you subconsciously put into place to hold the wolf at bay. Roll a d20 when that last spell is cast, anything over a 10, you begin to transform into a werewolf. If you become frightened, you have to fight the urge to transform. You and the DM roll a d20. If you both roll an even number or an odd number, you do not transform.
During your first transformation, you become an enraged werewolf with bloodlust that is not able to be sated. This being your first time transforming, you have no idea when this will come upon you. When you transform, you gain the stat block of the werewolf until you transform back to your original form (1 hour, lose consciousness.)
After your first transformation, you have a very small chance of gaining control of yourself. During transformation, roll a d20, a matching roll by the DM will grant you the ability to gain complete control of yourself, including the ability to cast spells when in wolf form. As this wolf blood takes further hold of who you are, you will gradually gain control more often, along with other abilities while in regular form... That info on when and how will come as you get stronger.
Along with the bipedal werewolf form that most come to expect with wolf blood running through your veins, during transformation, you may instead transform into the form of a wolf. During the d20roll to determine if you gain full control of yourself, if both you and the DM roll roll either odd or even numbers, you turn into a wolf instead of a werewolf until the transformation ends (1 hour, lose consciousness, or uses an action to try and successfully gain full control of yourself). In this form, you are friendly to your party, but do not understand what they are saying unless they can speak to animals. Your stats are that of a wolf.
