Your devensive capabilities are enhanced by your otherworldly connection to the Shadowfell. Not only is your physical form granted extra protection, you can extend that shadowy aegis to your allies. When you take this feat you gain the following benefits:
- While wearing heavy armor, your AC increases by 1 but cannot exceed 20.
- When a creature within 5 feet of you, 10 feet if you have a weapon with the Reach property, takes damage, you can use your reaction to halve that damage. You take the damage yourself instead of the original target of the attack. You can use this trait once per short or long rest.
- As a bonus action, you can grant half-cover to one creature of your choice within 5 feet of you. In addition, you can use your action to grant 3/4 cover to one creature of your choice within 5 feet of you. You can use this trait once per short or long rest.
