Basic Grappling

Grappling is a unique form of martial arts in and of itself and thus requires the mastery of both dexterous and strength based movement in order to defend against an attacker or attack another individual, as such you have a new AC which is based solely on your grappling ability, this is 10 + (str+dex/2).

You may also choose to attack with either your dexterity or strength depending on your particular style of grappling, in order to break a grapple you can roll a grappling attack, if you beat your opponents GAC (grappling AC) you can break the grapple or change the grapple to your advantage.

As part of the attack action you can make a grapple attack, if you are able to beat your opponents grapple AC you will have grappled that creature and can make grappling attacks based on the extent to which you beat their AC. Grappled creatures deal half damage to the grappler and their movement is reduced to zero as also displayed below.
