The creature is affected by a terrible curse coming from the darkest and coldest area of Hell, darkening their soul and syphoning physical and magical power alike.

The afflicted has their movement speed reduced by 5 ft., they also all their damage and saving throw rolls reduced by 1. This effect stacks up to 4 times. Once a creature has been afflicted 4 times, they take 5 (+ 1d6 per afflicted level) necrotic damage and lose all affliction stacks.
