Upon the palms of your right and left hands are the perfect images of the head and tail faces of a coin, a magical brand to help you choose which path ahead you wish to follow. By tapping into the power of the brand you can receive a mere glimpse of a possible future that lies ahead. When doing so you can hear the feint sound of a coin being tossed into the air.
Up to three times a day, when making a decision that has two potential outcomes you can choose to activate the Brand of Heads and Tails to see a few moments into the future. The DM will describe a short scenario for both heads and tails (alternatively the DM can assign the descriptions 'favourable' and 'unfavourable' to either Heads or Tails). Uses are restored on a long rest.
As a reaction in combat, if a melee, spell or ranged attack would hit you or an ally of you that is within 5ft of you, you can spend a use of the brand of Heads and Tails to have the attacker re-roll the attack as you use the power of the brand to re-write history within a brief split second.
