After years of alcohol abuse, you have gained an dependency to alcohol and now require it to function normally. Abstaining from alcohol will cause ill effects, for 3d6 days unless alcohol is again ingested and then the process starts over with another 3d6 roll added to the remaining days you have left.
- Insomnia: was unable to take a long rest for the previous night. Gaining 1 point of exhaustion is fatigued and tired defiantly showing signs of a rough night.
- Hallucinations: may experience hallucinations throughout the day.
- Paranoia: anxious, jittery is unable to take short rests for that day.
- Nausea: has to make constitution saving throws at physical exertion, rapid movement, Bright light or Loud noises.(similar to a hangover)
- The shakes: is constantly shaking throughout the day and has disadvantage on dexterity and charisma ability checks, as well as any skill checks using dexterity or charisma.
- Anxiety: has to make wisdom saves to prevent panic attacks
- Alcoholic craving: must make a constitution saving throw to refrain from consuming while near alcohol. A failed save will result in a drunken state followed by an extreme hangover, and having to start the detoxifying process all over.
- Confusion: must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or gain the confusion condition. Subsequently giving disadvantage to saving throws, ability and skill checks dealing with wisdom and intelligence.
- Mild discomfort: slightly irritable but mostly a decent day.
- Mild cravings: small, but manageable craving of alcoholic beverages.
- Good Day: Not experiencing most of the above symptoms but still slightly tired/not 100%.
- Great Day: Non symptomatic carefree day.
