Prerequisite: Requires a Wisdom score of 15 or higher

This martial art teaches that one must first perfect their inner body before mastering their outer. Supposedly, this is done by tapping into one's soul and manipulating their bodily energy (known as ki), and then later using this knowledge of one's ki to attain a unique sense of enlightenment. With a surface-level knowledge of this art, you gain the following benefits:

  • Hadoken (5/Long Rest). Ranged Spell Attack: +(Unarmed Strike Hit/DC) to Hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + (STR/DEX/WIS/CHA) + (Proficiency). Fire a small, ki-based projectile from the palm of your hands.

Power of Nothingness (1/Long Rest). By relaxing your very soul to the highest degree possible, you gain the ability to achieve a temporary state of enlightenment while keeping your physical form intact. Roll a 1d10 at the start of your turn. Upon rolling anything but a 10, nothing occurs and your turn is not wasted. Upon rolling a 10, you use up your entire turn and gain the following benefits:

  • In place of DEX checks of any kind, you can use your Spellcasting ability modifier instead.
  • When an attacker you can see hits you with an Attack, make a DEX Saving Throw. This roll will take the place of your AC (Armor Class). If you manage to dodge successfully, you can choose to move 10 ft. in any direction, or not move at all.
  • When you are subjected to an Effect that allows you to make a DEX saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw.
  • You gain a +3 bonus to hit (Hit/DC) for every attack that requires you to roll to hit.
  • You can perform 2 melee attacks as an Action, and 1 melee attack as a Bonus Action.
  • Upon activation, you refill all of your Hadoken charges and now have a maximum of 8 charges/Long Rest. If you have more than 5 charges when de-activating this state, then you will go back to having 5 charges/Long Rest.
  • You gain immunity to Psychic damage and the Charmed, Frightened, Blinded and Deafened conditions.

Upon taking damage, you must roll a CON Saving Throw and get higher than a 10 to keep the Power of Nothingness with you.
