This contract has granted you 1 use of the wish spell (the effects of which may remain as a feature) however your soul is no longer your own. In exchange for whatever powers or wealth you acquired in this way your soul is now influenced by a genie until you have freed him from his prison.
Folly of the Greedy:
Your soul is now bound to the genie and you are vulnerable to it’s will. Upon freeing the genie you will be granted 2 uses of the wish spell. You cannot suffer the stress caused by casting the wish spell to produce an effect other than duplicating another spell when you use any of the 3 uses of the wish spell granted by this feature.
1st Wish:
The effect of this feature is determined by you and the DM at the time this dark gift is received and it is based on whatever you used the 1st wish spell for. any spell lower than 9th level cannot dispel or alter this feature in any way.
Genie’s Influence:
Immediately after you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw and roll a d20, roll 1 additional d20; if the result is either a 1 or 20, you must make a (DC 15) wisdom saving throw. On a failed save you must use the new roll in place of your first roll. The outcome of this roll can only be influenced by a 9th level spell. Once a failed save occurs, you must finish a short or long rest before this feature is used again.
(this feature is meant to be the dark gift the player character receives when choosing the genie patron; folly of the greedy, 1st wish, and Genie’s influence are the 3 separate features the player receives when choosing this dark gift)
