Your study of blood magic has granted you the ability to manipulate the life blood of others. You gain the ability to steal the life blood of a creature and bestow it upon another to heal them of injury. You gain access to two magical actions relating to blood magic, Life Syphon and Life Transference.
- You gain a +1 to your Constitution to a maximum of 20.
- Life Syphon: You can use your blood magic to pull the blood and life force out of a living entity that has blood that you can see within 15ft of you. If the creature fails a Constitution saving throw against, it takes 1d4 piercing damage. The damage dealt is equivalent to the amount of blood you receive to your blood pool. The damage dealt, and subsequently the life drained increases by 1d4 as you level up. 6th level 2d4, 12th level 3d4 and 18th level 4d4.
- Life Transference: You gain the ability to bestow the life blood of another onto a creature of your choice that has blood that you can see within 20ft of you. Any Hit points drained through Life Syphon can be granted to one creature of your choice per casting. The amount of hit points that can be granted must equal the amount of hit points drained or any amount of hit points you have in your blood pool at the time, up to the maximum amount of hit points in your blood pool.
Along side with these two actions you gain a blood pool. Any hit points drained using Life Syphon that are not used up on that turn’s bonus action via Life Transference is stored in your blood pool. This pool does not naturally regenerate by itself. Your blood pool can can store up to 20 hit points at a time. These hit points don’t go away unless you use them up with Life Transference. Your blood pool increases to 40 hit points at 8th level and 60 hit points at 16th level.
