The centuries-long severed connection to your Feywild roots has caused permanent illness. If you contain the Fey Ancestry racial trait, before completing a long rest but after beginning one, consult the below table.
Fey Plague Table
| d10 | Plague Effect |
|---|---|
| 1-4 | Nothing happens |
| 5 | The previous day wears heavily on your body, and exhaustion keeps you resting past a normal long rest. Roll a d4 and add the result as the number of extra hours you need to complete a long rest |
| 6 | You are rattled by coughing and choking on your breath. You have disadvantage on Stealth and Charisma checks |
| 7 | The connection to the Feywild is especially weak today. You lose any effects of your Fey Ancestry, including innate spellcasting |
| 8 | You are racked by terrible night terrors. Your Sanity score is reduced by 1d6. |
| 9 | The Fey energies that course through your veins vibrate, creating a natural bioluminescent glow. You glow slightly in nonmagical darkness but don't shed light. Your spell attack and spell DC decrease by 2 |
| 10 | Your ancestral disdain for iron and other metals weakens you. Your Constitution Score is lowered based on the Metal Langour table below |
Metal Langour Table
| Circumstance | Constitution Score Reduction |
|---|---|
| 2-4 unique sources of iron are within 15 feet of you. (i.e., the armor of an ally, weaponry, clothing, and other personal effects) | -1 |
| Contact with iron or other strong metals through fabric, gloves, etc. (i.e., sitting on a train, boat, carriage, horse with armor) | -2 |
| 4+ unique sources of iron are within 30 feet of you. (i.e., in combat with iron-wearing enemies, in a prison or other metallic structure that is enclosed) | -3 |
| Contact with iron or other strong metals directly with your skin. (i.e., wearing iron armor, manacles, holding iron weapons, etc.) | -4 |
