As you learn to read the stars shining bright in the night sky, you gain insights into the mechanics of the cosmos and learn to implement them into your daily life.

You gain the following benefits:

1. You always know which way is north.
2. You gain 2 Starfate dice (D4) which you can roll to add or subtract from ability checks, saving throws or attack rolls. To do so, you can roll the Starfate dice after the ability check roll, saving throw or attack roll, but before the roll resolves. This can potentially turn a failure of a check or saving throw to a success, or turn a miss into a hit. You can only roll one Starfate dice per ability check, saving throw or attack roll. You regain all expended Starfate dice at the end of a long rest. After you finish a lo,g rest, roll a d20. Based on the number rolled, the effect of your Starfate die will differ and the effect of the previous d20 rolled this way is replaced:
   
   • If the roll is even, you can add the number rolled on a Starfate dice to the mentioned rolls of allies, not including yourself. Once you use this feature to roll a Starfate dice, you expend that dice and can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
   • If the roll is odd, you can subtract the number rolled on a Starfate dice to the mentioned rolls of enemies. Once you use this feature to roll a Starfate dice, you expend that dice and can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
