(Prerequisite: Dexterity score of 14 or higher)
You have mastered the art of incorporating coin tricks into your repertoire and have learned to use them to your advantage in various situations.
You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Gaff Coin:
You can use a coin to conceal the somatic components of your spells and cantrips. When you use this feature, you distract or mislead other creatures while disguising your somatic hand gestures or other physical movements. Non-spellcasters cannot detect this; however, this does not prevent someone from hearing your verbal components. Spellcasters who have sufficient reason to within 15 feet may make an Intelligence (Arcana) check (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus) to recognize that you are casting a spell. They have advantage on this roll if your spell has a verbal component and they are within 10 feet of you.
Behind the Ear:
You can use a coin to pickpocket a creature who is aware of you without exposing yourself, allowing you to roll a pickpocket slight of hand check without disadvantage. If any ally or friendly creature has line of sight on your target, and they have the ability to comprehend what you are doing, and are at least within 10 feet of them, you roll with disadvantage.
General Restrictions:
- These features cannot be used on a creature that has already witnessed or seen through them once before.
- Creatures with True Sight and or Blindsight automatically succeed on any rolls against you for these features as long as you are within their true sight and or blind sight range.
- Creatures with the Coin Master feat cannot be fooled by their own tricks and automatically succeed on any rolls against you for these features."
