The Coinshot can burn 1 unit of steel as a free action to see light blue lines pointing to sources of metal around them until the beginning of their next turn.
The size of these lines is dependent on the size of the metal source and the distance from the metal source.
A ball bearing would be a thread width line at 30 ft. and invisible at 100 ft.
A massive metal pillar would be a forearm width line at 30 ft. and invisible at 1000 ft.
Coinshot can as a reaction or bonus action:
- Push on a visible metal object:
- If it is significantly less massive than the Coinshot, it is pushed away from some specific part of their body extremely quickly.
- If it is of a similar mass to the Coinshot, both are accelerated away from one another to a speed of 15 ft. per round.
- If it is firmly anchored, or significantly more massive than the Coinshot, the Coinshot is accelerated away from the object to a speed of 30 ft. per round.
As the Coinshot gains more skill with this ability (at character level 7):
- They can moderate their pushs such that they can hover above a stable metal object.
- They can moderate their pushs to hover a metal object above any part of their body.
As the Coinshot gains even more skill with this ability (at character level 14):
- They gain the ability to travel very rapidly by pushing off of metal objects in the environment.
(15 * acrobatics check ft. flying speed in sufficiently metal dense environment with many solid anchors)
