Why do you go to such lengths to help ?
- Increase an ability score of your choice by 1.
- Increase the range of your help, by 5ft.
- If an ally is making an ability check without proficiency, you can grant him your proficiency bonus with your help. This requires you to be proficient in the skill.
- At the beginning of the combat, you can give one of your allies your initiative bonus, and subtract it from yourself.
- If you used your action to help, you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus until the start of your next turn.
