When you load one of any kind of ammunition into any kind of firearm, you can shoot without spend any ammunition and ignore the loading/reloading property. The projectile will have the same magical effect if the ammunition is a magic item. However if you take that ammunition out of the firearm, it will turned into dust.
Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls with any firearm.
When you use the Attack action and attack with a one-handed weapon, you can use a bonus action to attack with a handgun you are holding.
