Having been exposed to the might of the Tempest, you can now empower your abilities with the storm. This ability can be activated a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
As a bonus action, you summon the fury of the tempest. For the next minute, each time you make a successful attack, you may expend up to two charges to add 1d6 lightning damage to the attack per charge. Each time you expend a charge, take 1 point of Tempest's Rage (see below). The effect ends after one minute, or after you make three successful attacks.
Tempest's Rage. As soon as you reach 8 points of Tempest's Rage, the true fury of the Tempest is unleashed. The Tempest feeds off of fear and thrives on overcoming that fear. You immediately use your reaction to lash out and attack the nearest creature, manipulating a known fear as you do. On each subsequent turn, you must use your action to continue attacking the nearest creature. After each rage-induced attack, make a DC 14 Strength saving throw to try to physically resist and end the rage. The rage lasts for 10 minutes, ending on a successful save or if you fall unconscious. After the rage is expended, the stacks reset to 0.
