Your mastery of one-handed combat has resulted in new techniques to give you the edge against your opponents. While wielding a melee weapon in one hand with the versatile or finesse property and no other weapons, you gain the following benefits:
- You have a +2 bonus to melee attack rolls with that weapon. (due to limitations with DnD Beyond, this must be added manually)
- After you take the attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to feint. Make an attack with the weapon you're holding against a target within your reach. If the attack would hit, you deal no damage, but instead unbalance your opponent, granting advantage on the next attack roll against that target before the start of your next turn.
- When a creature you can see hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to attempt to parry it, potentially causing it to miss. Make an attack roll with the weapon you are holding; if the roll meets or exceeds the attack roll that hit you, the hit becomes a miss. If you roll a 20 on your attack roll, your parry automatically succeeds, and you may riposte; make another attack roll with your weapon against the same target; if the attack hits, it is a critical hit.
