Innovatived Skill

You have learned an unorthodox way of performing a skill, giving you the following benefits:

• Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

• You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.

• Choose one skill other than athletics or acrobatics, or choose initiative. You can use the ability modifier you increased with this feat to add to that skill instead of the ability modifier that skill used to apply. For example, a warlock, as a part of taking this feat, may ask their patron to whisper ancient secrets to the warlock when they need it, allowing the warlock to make a charisma (History) check instead of an intelligence (History) check.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to use Strength instead of Dexterity for your Acrobatics checks.

Some choices from this feat won't make sense for your character. Ask your DM if the choices you made for this feat will fit within the lore of the world and your character.
