An unknown deity of the Shadowfell has bestowed you with unearthly power, granting you limited control over the fine line between life and death. You are an ill omen on the battlefield who musters your allies and blights your enemies, twisting fate to your needs and reciting the doom of those that oppose you.
You briefly step into the shadow-realm and call upon the Witch-Queen’s aid. Once per turn, when you use a class feature or racial feature to teleport instantly, you can summon a Battle Crow at the point you emerge from, which then takes one of the following actions:
- Storm of Hate: Your crow harrows your enemies and calls them to their doom. When you first summon it and at the start of each of your turns, your crow flies up to its speed to a creature of your choice and makes a single attack. This attack has a +7 to hit, and deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier in slashing damage. An enemy struck in this way is afflicted and must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it is frightened until the beginning of your next turn.
- Ordained Victory: You inspire hope in your allies and delay the grasp of Death over those under your careful watch. When you first summon it and at the start of each of your turns, you can mentally command your battle crow to fly up to its speed to an ally you can see. Your crow hovers above this ally and immediately grants it 1d6 + 4 temporary hit points. While a creature has these temporary hit points, it cannot be frightened and it gains a +1 bonus to AC. At the start of each of your subsequent turns, you can mentally direct the crow to another ally of your choosing. The previous creature loses these benefits.
- Shadow of War: You shroud your enemies in darkness and fill them with visions of their own demise. A swarm of black feathers descends to fill a 10 foot radius sphere directly beneath your crow. The space within this swarm is considered difficult terrain and is lightly obscured. In addition, ranged attacks made from within the sphere have disadvantage.
A crow summoned in this way has a flying speed of 60 feet and does not provoke opportunity attacks. Additionally, your crow has AC 20, 10 hitpoints, and resistance to all damage. If it must make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw proficiencies. The crow remains for 1 minute or until it is destroyed.
Only one effect can be active at a given time. Taking a different action immediately ends any previous battlefield effects.
